Speak Thai on Day One
of Your Trip
Not a language course. A smart travel phrasebook that trains your brain to remember. Set your trip date and we pace your practice -- just 5 minutes a day.
You're Excited About Thailand. But Worried About...
Feeling Lost Without Words
Pointing at menus, miming at taxi drivers, missing out on conversations. You know you could have a richer experience if you just knew some basics.
Pronunciation Paralysis
You learned "sawadee" from a video, but when you say it, locals look confused. Thai tones feel impossible, so you stay silent.
Stuck in the Tourist Bubble
Same restaurants, same routes, same experiences as every other visitor. The real Thailand stays hidden behind a language barrier.
Phrasebook Frustration
You bought the book, but flipping through pages mid-conversation is awkward. And the phrases never match what you actually need.
Phrase books don't work because you can't flip pages mid-conversation. Duolingo doesn't offer Thai. Google Translate gets tones wrong half the time. There's a better way.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to get travel-ready?
With about 10 minutes a day, most travelers get comfortable in the majority of tourist situations within a couple of weeks. Set your trip date and we'll pace your practice to match.
What about the tones? I heard Thai is tonal.
Thai has 5 tones, and yes, they matter. But we train your ear with audio examples and spaced repetition. You'll learn the correct tones naturally through practice, not memorizing rules.
Can I use it offline in Thailand?
Offline mode is coming soon. In the meantime, Jam Kham is hosted on regional servers in Asia, so it loads fast even on Thai mobile data. WiFi is widely available at hotels, cafes, and malls across Thailand.
What if my trip is next week?
When Travel Thai opens, set your trip date and we'll shift into intensive mode — shorter, more focused sessions with the highest-priority phrases first. Even a week of practice makes a meaningful difference.
How is this different from a phrasebook app?
Phrasebook apps are reference tools -- you look up a phrase, say it, and forget it. Jam Kham uses spaced repetition to move phrases into your long-term memory. After 2 weeks of practice, the phrases are in your head, not on your phone.
What does response comprehension mean?
Most apps teach you what to say but not what you'll hear back. When you ask "How much?" in Thai, the vendor will reply in Thai. Our response comprehension cards train you to understand common Thai responses so you're not lost after your opening line.
